U.S. Department of State Office of Research: Public Opinion Survey with Albanian and Serbian Population, November 2011

UBO Consulting conducted two surveys, one with 1,000 Albanian respondents and one 1,000 with Serbian respondents across all municipalities of Kosovo. The survey addressed public attitudes towards social, economic and political issues, as well as international affairs of ethnic Albanians and Serbs living in Kosovo.

GIZ: Community Need Assessment - Training Sessions, September 2011

GIZ, in cooperation with UBO Consulting, conducted three-day training, in Prishtina, Ferizaj, Gjakova and Gracanica. The main objective of this training was introducing all the Youth Officers and Directors of Social Welfare Centres to the tools, terminology, methods of community needs assessment, and a monitoring system in support of their projects or objectives of their projects.

GIZ: An Assessment Study on the Association of Kosovo Municipalities, 2010 - 2011

The aim of this study is surveying the knowledge and satisfaction of local authorities, donor community, and governmental agencies in Kosovo with the work and achievements of the Association of Kosovo Municipalities in supporting and assisting local authorities in Kosovo. This study is part of the GIZ project ‘Modernization of Municipal Services’.

USAID Business Enabling Environment Program (BEEP): Municipal Competitiveness Index (MCI) 2011

The Municipal Competitiveness Index (MCI) in Kosovo evaluates the business regulatory environment and ranks municipal economic governance. The primary goal of the MCI is to improve the productivity and performance of private businesses by identifying and reducing extraneous regulatory burdens, corruption, and opacity of the legal environment.

GIZ: Empowerment and Development of Youth in Kosovo Research, 2010 – 2011

Within the Empowerment and Development of Youth in Kosovo (EDYK) project, UBO Consulting, together with SUM Consult from Germany, were appointed by GIZ to conduct three studies designed to strengthen the project’s impact, monitoring and quality assurance: a baseline study (2010), a miderm evaluation (2011) and a final evaluation (2012).

UNDP: Kosovo Remittance Study, 2010 - 2011

UNDP in cooperation with International Monetary Fund (IMF), Central Bank of Kosovo, Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Economic Development repeated a Kosovo Remittance Survey. The survey was conducted with 8,000 households during July and August 2011, during the peak period of the Diaspora travel in Kosovo. The survey is a follow-up for the Kosovo Remittance Study 2010 that was launched in November 2010.

UNDP/ USAID: Kosovo Mosaic Survey, 2009

The Kosovo Mosaic Report was launched on October 2009presenting perceptions of peoples’ overall economic wellbeing, local public services, and the decentralization process. UBO Consultingconducted a survey of 6,400 households. The survey was designed to contribute to the ongoing debate and reform of local governments by highlighting priorities, bottlenecks in service delivery, people’ willingness to participate in public policy process.
